You have reached the About Us page. But I believe it's really not About Us, it's about the unique and one-of-a-kind jewelry you will find here. Then again, the jewelry would not be here if it wasn’t for "us". So here's a little something About Us.

Christine Koys of Land O'Lakes, Florida, started creating jewelry in 2004. She launched Blue Skies Jewelry in 2006. Chris is originally from Illinois; she moved to Florida in 1999.

Chris's passion for creating jewelry developed from a casual conversation with a friend three years ago. She has no formal jewelry making training; Chris conceives her designs from her career background in architecture, construction and real estate development. Ironically, she has found that her experience in these industries contributes to the unusual stones and shapes which comprise her unique pieces.

You may have run into Chris displaying her jewelry at various outdoor art fairs throughout Central Florida. If you haven't yet, in time you will.

Chris has one husband, five cats, one dog, no children, loving friends, and a wonderful Life in her adopted state of Florida.

So that's about it. About Us really comes down to the wonder of creation, and the joy the jewelry evokes in you.
